Silent Tears

Aloof, unseen, unheard;

Sobbing in the corner of scorn.

Dripping slow, eyelids in redness swell.

You mock; you tease at ease

Sensing my loneliness appears

You kiss my teardrops dry.

My tears today is one of sorrow

Bidding goodbye for tomorrow

Leaving me to embrace his new love true.

You come in time to my rescue

This heart rends by somebody blue

To rejoice his new found joy imbue.

Your smile comforts and hugs assure

Friendship pure in minds restore

Beliefs, confidence and trust return.
