Lowly heart upon the floor
how is it that you sink no more?
Your burden heavy, weighs you down
until at last you've reached the ground.
And, your thump, is weak and poor,
what happenes when you beat no more?
Your shade it turns from bright to dull,
ans now's a shrivled darkened hull.
Where once was warm and full of life
has now turned cold and flecked with ice.
You once were smooth, alight with pride,
now you're crushed and scattered wide.
