How deliciously we will wither

We feel like antagonizing.
But perhaps waiting
‘til the haze is subsiding
would better serve…

No longer a knee-jerk defensive,
but rather a pensive
allocation of reason
to the sleaze but…

…Come seasons of lies
we will adapt;
Cataracts will exfoliate, descend
and from the ground up
we will envision the End
unfold
from inception.

How trifling our musings will seem, then.
And what will manifest
but reflection
upon lakes of recollection
where wetness is the perfection
of acceptance
of decadence.
And we dip our tongues for a drink
of our insignificance.

How deliciously
we will wither…
