You May Not Know...

Folder:
2009 Poems

You may not know it,

But I would do anything for you

Walk across the desert

Swim in the deep lagoon

You may not know it,

but for you I would take my life

If it would save you,

I’d twist the knife

You may not know it,

but I would do anything I could

For you and you alone,

I hope you know I really would

I’d travel to the edge of the world

Bare foot, cold and alone

I’d run a million marathons

If in the end it is you that I won

I would dress up kind of stupid

Make a fool of myself

Tell a million jokes,

Only to see you smile

You may not know it

but I love you more than words could ever say

and I hope that you believe

That we will be together for always
