Lighten up the room

Its full of dark and gloom

Paint some color on these walls

Bring some life into these hallowed halls

Change it all around, make it new

Maybe that will erase the lonely tone of blue



Lighten up the sky

It needs tears to cry

Fill it with the golden sun

Watch it reflect off the glistening ocean

Let the birds chirp and the winds blow

and in the spring the flowers will bloom and grow



Lighten up your heart

Forget about the pain tearing you apart

Let go for a little while, a little is enough

Just open up and let in love
