Publishing Poems [2008] No one cares about the girl with tears falling down her face
They could care less about her last embrace
Or how the one she loved left her for someone better
and by now he has and he has already forgotten her
No one cares about the girl who spends her nights alone
Waiting all night for someone to care enough to call her phone
but nobody ever calls, so she cries herself to sleep
Telling herself how she is so damn weak
No one cares about the girl who cuts herself with the knife
Constantly contemplating taking her own life
She'll bleed until she is bled dry
Still no one will care and no one will try
No one cares about the girl who has gone too far off the deep end
They all think her insanity is just another trend
They do not get how she gets this way
but they don't bother to try to even stay
No one cares about the girl who will die alone
but then again,
no one is around
so no one would have known
Very Deep.
