I need you by my side

If I am ever going to survive

Please don't run away and hide

I need you with me to make it out alive



You saved me on that fateful day

The day when I always ran far away

I was on the edge, ready to give up and let go

You told me that you loved me and that you just wanted me to know



You help me to get through the day

You make my heart feel as if it is okay

You promise that we'll be together forever

I am still waiting for you to keep your word, but I believe we'll part never



Though we dont get to talk so much

I still want you to know

I will love you forever, never letting go

I believe you and only you, and to you I will stay forever true



When you are around me I feel so calm

You treat me like a queen

You give me somewhere to belong
