I invested my whole heart into what we shared

I was so foolish to think you ever cared

Why I choose to believe that lie...

The world knows I am not worth the try



I put everything I had into our love

Thought it was something miraculous sent from above

We had good times, we also had some bad

All I know is you are the best I ever had



I had so much to look foward to

So many dreams to share my life with you

I never imagined we would fall apart so fast

However I should have known because of my past



I would have loved you forever,

My love would have never chose to sever

You were my entire life

From the beginning I envisioned being your wife



But I learn as the days fly by fast

That nothing, not even love, ever lasts

I am not sure whether to hold on or to let go

I am hurt but I still love you, I hope you know
