I never felt more alive

Than when you were by my side

You were the reason that I survived

Until you let me go and watched as I died



I never meant to let what we had die

I held on, at least I gave it a good try

I miss you now, cant you see the tears I cry

I cant go on without you ...I could smile, but I would be living a lie



You gave me hope for the future, for a better and brighter tomorrow

You promised me that you would take away my sorrow

You said that you would always stay

But if you were to look, you would say that it hasn’t turned out that way



I never meant to let us die

I always hoped to hold on to that spark

I never meant to lie

I never meant to make everything so dark



I never felt so much pain

as the moment that I hurt you

I never would have done my game

If I knew that we would be through



I never meant to let our love die

I held on as long as I could,

I gave it a good try

All along I loved you more than I thought I should



Our love is over

I am so hurt and confused...

I thought I would die...
