Frozen in the place where I stand
Only longing for your hand
Wanting to feel your loving embrace
Hoping to look into your eyes, to at least see your face
I wake feeling like nothing has changed
Not knowing that everything is rearranged
I start to think that maybe you'll show
Then I realize that you had to go
We never got our moment to shine
We thought things would work out with time
But here I am alone without you
So shaken from it all, unsure of what to do
So unsure of everything, I live as if life were a total blur
I walk around these streets so empty, praying that there is a cure
I wish that I were dreaming, that you aren’t really gone
But when I awaken from the misery, I find no where to belong
Within and without misery, a place to belong is hard to find
A good read
