Loved walked out on me,

I was sure for the very last time

I thought I would get over being alone

Somehow, in the end I would be fine



Misery walked through the door

and stood patiently by my side

Another night I was left for dead on the cold, hard floor

and beneath me, all the crimson tears I had cried



When I was at my lowest, darkest point

Some kind of miracle happened

This angel walked into my life

Making me feel better, taking away the need for my knife



He is still by my side, standing forever strong

With him there I know that I can do no wrong

He is mine and I am his

We will live forever in eternal bliss



I cannot imagine, even fathom a day without him there

He is the one through sickness and health whom I would always take care

He can brighten each moment, make me smile when I only want to frown

He can lift me up when all I feel is down



This feeling is so strong

No words can express

My love for him runs so deep

We are each others forever, and ever to keep



I imagined in my mind what love was like

But I never could see it would be this strong

I never thought someone could love me like you do

and I never imagined that to be in your arms is what I would always long



I never envisioned that I would be in a love,

where everyday my love for him only grows

He is the reason that I go on living

I just hope that is something that I could show



Through the rough times that pass me by

He stands there through it all

He is my protector, my lifeline

Catching me when I stumble, and fall



At this point I know I would die without him

Cause with him there life just feels so right

and without him I would not be able to cope nor fight

So as long as he is there by my side, I know I will always be fine



I'll hold onto him for always, until my dying day

He is my one and only, forever to stay

I couldnt imagine living my life any other way

and I know with him holding me everything will be okay
