At first we had something great but now I am scared
Now is when I need you the most but you are never there
So if I am forced to go on without you I am unprepared

You make all these promises to never leave that you cannot seem to keep
You stay long enough for me to get attached and then you walk away
and since you have gone, I havent gotten any sleep
What makes it so hard to look me in the eye?
Is it because you feel so ashamed?
I kept on caring, I gave us another try
