There would be no need for lies
Our love would be the voice for any rhyme
Just because it is that sublime
If love was written in the stars
A million stars it would take to spell ours
because our love is so complete
and you mean the world to me
If love was written in the sun
The I would know you were my only one
Our love would shine so bright
and our world would forever stay light
If love was written in the clouds’ shapes and mysteries
There would be a million possibilities
Our love could tell a story, our love could always last
because it brings glory and remnants of the past
If love was written in the rain
It would be strong enough to withstand any pain
It would bring comfort to all that need the relief
and the feeling of peace would not be brief
If love was written in the wind
It would send thoughts on angels wings
Love is nothing selfish or vain
and like the wind it can withstand anything
If love was written in the air
It would be as light as a feather
That would not distract from its beauty
It would make it come alive fully
If love was written in nature
It would be the most beautiful thing
Like the cricket singing the good night song
or the morning bird singing in the spring
If love was written in the sky
There would be no need to lie
because a love like that can last a lifetime
because it is so sublime
