I see the stars in your eyes

But they say love is blind

Then how could your eyes sparkle to me,

How could they shine



I see the hope in your eyes

The hope that had been stripped away

You brought it back and I thank you for that

I am thankful for knowing you every day



I see something that could be great in your eyes

A friendship sparked into something more

Never saw a chance for us

But now it feels like something worth fighting for



I see a lightened path in your eyes

Straying from the darkness I have known for so long

I did not want to imagine I could find something so real

Or something that makes me feel so strong



I see a possible future in your eyes

You and I walking hand in hand for a long time

I am not sure if I can see a forever

But I think we should take a chance of being together



In your eyes these are the things that I see

A possibility of what could really be
