With Just One Twist

Folder:
2009 Poems

Stirred silences turn to fears

Blank faces now wet with tears

Hurt but still not forgotten

Lost inside, still unfound

Turn the page, new story beginning

Start the process that rewound

Completely solemn, unsung, unheard

The time before, never spoke a word

Slowly aching; body and soul

Therein lies a deep, gaping hole

Profusely bleeding, will not slow

The pain; like floods, overflows

Knife in hand, pressed to the wrist

There it ends with just one twist

Author's Notes/Comments:

Dark and mourbid, I know.
