You are my father,
and I hold you very dear.
You are my role model,
and you are my hero.
So I hope you know,
losing you is my greatest fear.
I want you to know,
that I respect you greatly,
and admire you
with all of my heart.
You have drawn me a path,
which you think I should sketch.
Yet never forced me,
into painting your dream-piece of art.
You've always encouraged me,
to find my own way,
and also told me
asking for help is okay.
You've never given up on me,
and you've always seen me through.
I hope that you know,
that I appreciate all of your kindness,
