Someone that loved you.
You threw it all away.
Threw it away for drugs.
Threw it all away for your baby momma.
One day, I'll find that someone special.
That's when you'll realize that you had somethin' great.
Someone that treated you right.
Someone that committed to you.
Someone that looked at you more of a husband.
And one day,
I'll find that someone special.
He'll treat me like I deserve.
He'll commit to me like I will him.
That's when you'll realize
that you should have treated me better.
That's when you'll realize that
you could have. Should have....
Had somethin' great.
But when you see this fact...
It'll be too late.
Honestly, it already is too late.
When I get with this someone special...
He'll love me.
He'll be loyal to me.
He'll be faithful to me.
He'll treat me the way I deserve.
The way that you didn't.
He won't put drugs or a baby momma before me.
He won't make me feel like I'm not loved.
He'll make me feel special.
And just think about the way I committed myself to you....
Just think of how I'll be with someone that's
treating me and loving me the way I should be...
And when you see this,
this is when you'll realize that you probably want me back.
That you should have treated me better.
Loved me and held me when I was down.
But guess what??
Don't try to come back...
Cuz I'm not gonna leave someone that never stopped loving me.
That never mistreated me for drugs or for a baby momma.
I won't do anything to jeopardize a perfect relationship.
Just know that if you try to come back to me,
that it's too late.
I'm not gonna move backwards....
I'm goin' forwards....
You can't expect to throw me away...
Not just once, but twice...
And me take you back.
It won't happen.
And it definitely won't happen,
if I'm with someone who truly loves me and treats me right.
One lesson I know is:
You don't jeopardize somethin' that's good.
When you got somethin' great...You hold onto it and fight for it.
