Counting my fingers,

Making sure they're all there,

Looking in the mirror,

Checking every hair.

Do my socks match or

Did my nylons catch

  on anything?



It's all kinda ridiculous

The way I run around in circles,

Making sure everything is perfect

So I will look good for you.

Author's Notes/Comments: 

The hassles we as women go through to try to gain appreciation.. haha.. actually, I wrote it to be funny,.. but it is the truth.

The poem is beautiful, and the truth it contains is very timely. However, the man who adores and appreciates the
beauties that his lady will wear for him is, in my opinion,
a very blessed man. Consider the Song of Solomon, for example.

Great!!!...I love the simplicity and lightheartedness of this poem.....I am actually laughing when reading the end of it. I believe each of us women know it is so true. LOL....way to go here. YOu have hit the nail on the head!!
