Fable of Fufu

Folder:
Funny ones

There was once a girl bunny named Fufu. She was in love with a boy bunny named Tufu. Fufu and Tufu were good friends.  Fufu was also friends with another girl bunny, Rara.  She tried not to notice as Rara batted her eyelashes and flirted with Tufu. Everyday Fufu watched as Rara and Tufu flirted.  It kept eating away at her and made her more and more bitter. "Friends, what friends they are," Fufu said to her friends Zappa and Rappa.  Rara didn't know Fufu felt this way.  She thought they were still friends.  Fufu tried, she knew she didn't own Tufu, he could do as he pleased.  But Rara already had a hare!  Fufu tried to forgive, but she couldn't forget.  There was nothing Fufu could do. Realizing that Rara had put Tufu under her spell, she knew nothing was the same.  Rara had stolen her "hunny-bunny".

Author's Notes/Comments:

Moral 1= Not all stories have happy endings (but hey- that's life -deal with it)
Moral 2= Friendships can be broken more easily than they are built.

P.S. I wrote this for English class in 7th grade. My old elementary teachers though I was a strange little girl writing about death and love and misery instead of cute little bunnies or rainbows.  Well, consider this a compromise, ok?

ah, i wonder if we would have been best friends if we grew up together.. i'm going to summarize a story that i wrote in 8th grade the night of Halloween was the nite that holds the most of excitement for us. you see we love the dark and the nite is when we come alive. i was trick or treating but there was this one man who was rude to us... mamma told me to wait and be patient.... but i was sooooooo hungry... and i wanted to satisfy my craving... at the next corner.. i saw these two pumpkins beating up on Lucifer...i thought poor Lucifer... god punished you and you're being picked on again... ...so i walked up to the two pumpkins and ate them. oh, you see, i love Halloween. it's the only time where mamma and i can come out and play...it's also the only time that we get to satisfy our cravings... (I also was a strange one while growing...)
