Narrow I tell you narrow

 

Singing dancing 

 

Walking through thicket and Barrow

 

Like lambs to slaughter 

 

Walking talking thick with laughter 

 

 

 

A fork in the path

 

That needs to be trod

 

Walk en mass 

 

Or  on your Todd

 

 

 

The lane or the highway 

 

Path or the byway

 

Decisions decisions 

 

Which way to flow

 

Like a stick in stream

 

Mind fogged with dream

 

 

 

Sleeping I walk

 

On the way wide 

 

Drawn by the tide

 

Never to balk

 

 

 

The river rushes onwards

 

Down faster under brushes 

 

Over rocks she gushes

 

To sheol she draws us

 

 

 

A stream gentle and slow

 

Meanders through pastures 

 

Glistening enrapture's 

 

Nourishing to land and soul 

 

Further and further from sheol 

 

 

 

The way is wide

 

A slutty bride

 

Seductive as a whore

 

For many a men children she bore

 

Bastards of sin

 

Lying cheating and drinking 

 

No time for regret or thinking 

 

 

 

Two paths side by side

 

Yet by a gulf are they devide

 

in sight they pass into valley yonder

 

So few stop to wonder

 

Why the gate so wide and tall 

 

And the crevice so small

 

The valley wide and deep so brightly lit

 

 

 

I say to thee beware the valley

 

But he say nay have no fear

 

For salvation is so near

 

I tell you I go to green pastures 

 

In the valley of many

 

He told me so my dear old pastor

 

 

 

We are many, a legion you might say

 

And ye so alone on your standing stone

 

Come join us brother for time is near

 

Winter comes with the a raging lion

 

 

 

Tearing and thrashing

 

Gnawing and slashing

 

Tearing friends and foe

 

Devouring from his velvet throne

 

Pulling apart babe's on breast

 

Destroying without pause

 

In the valley so brightly coloured 

 

Every detail of Satan's rewards

 

Spread across the pastures 

 

 

 

Man woman child

 

All sleeping

 

Only the living weeping

 

In slumber they rest

 

Before the test 

 

 

 

That fork in the road

 

What did it mean

 

Wide way or narrow

 

For easy way my eyes do gleam

 

 

 

To be human is to be weak

 

The sins of life beckon

 

Strong humble and meek

 

Is the narrow path

 

The way to life eternal

 

fear not him who kills the body

 

But fear gods eternal wrath

 

 

 

Satan is your friend today

 

Your destruction on the morrow

 

Become gods friend

 

And escape the sorrow

 

For the end is nigh

 

With regret and a sigh

 

I feel drawn to fleshly pleasures

 

 

 

But i draw my courage through payer

 

And step onto the narrow way

 

The long task ahead

 

I dont look back

 

Death is waiting to welcome be back

 

 

 

As i shed my earthly passions

 

And live upon my daily rations

 

I can breath the fresh air

 

I can run upon the grass

 

load i bare is less each day

 

For im not alone upon on the way

 

 

 

The lamb and the shepard

 

The son and the father

 

They help me shed my cares

 

To avoid satans snares

 

I love all forgive all

 

My reward life eternal.

 

 

 

Narrow is the way to life

 

Narrow is to avoid strife

 

Narrow is the way to live

 

Narrow is to forgive

 

Narrow is to follow law

 

Narrow is to accept your flaw

 

Narrow is to give thanks always
