A Prayer On Child Abuse

Bless the children that need your love
Bless the lives that are about to end
Caused by a stranger, relative, or even a friend
Children sometimes become confused
That's no reason for them to be abused
Children shouldn't be considered a game
Nor should your child feel shame
To play with their favorite toy
Like any other girl or boy
Child abuse is a serious crime
But it happens all of the time
Please don't take the child away
Because someone got angry today
If the child is too much trouble
Please send help there on the double
But if these precious children should have to die
Please take them to your home in the sky.
Child Abuse
Neglect is worse, leaving an innocent to raise themselves and if older to raise one's siblings. Wounds heal, child molestation and murder are the crimes that I pray God will intervene with someome really big and muscle ladden and Christian and good walking in on the crime before it starts. I agree 100% percent with your comment. This is a poem that I wrote when I was in the mood but didn't have anything to write about. It is also one of the first poems I have ever written. And as they say practice makes perfect. Because of comments like yours it tells me what I need to know about improving my work.
