Social Norms

Folder:
Society

When did immorality

become a social norm?

When did profanity,

sex, drugs, and alcohol

start being everyday activities?

Where has the goodness

on which our country

was founded gone?

All media is not

a form of entertainment,

but a method of brainwashing.

They tell us to do

whatever they want,

and we buy this junk in bulk.

Don’t we realize we’re

missing the purpose of life?

Don’t we see that

there’s something greater

than monetary pursuits?

Don’t we want

to live for more than

the world’s temporal happiness?

There’s something beyond

these neon signs yet

He shines brighter

than the Vegas Strip.
