All the narrow-mindedness
In our churches;
The people that call
Themselves followers
Are driving people
Away from God.
Can’t we follow
Jesus’ example?
He dined
With the worst kind,
And still showed
Compassion for them.
He pursued
Relationships with sinners
Because he wanted
To lead them to eternity.
We must accept all kinds,
Love all kinds,
Never letting them
Lead us astray
But instead guiding
Them to the light.
true... one who is not open minded can not digest change and the realities seen on groud.. its a good poem indeed
