Whispers in the Dark

You will never be alone

no matter how dark

your future path seems.

As long as you seek Him out,

you will hear God

in the rustling of the leaves,

in the whistling of the wind.

God speaks amidst

the cacophony of life

just loud enough for you

to feel His presence.

In your darkest hours,

He will be there as

a hushed tone.

He will never

scream out to you

because He wants you

to choose Him willingly.

He is not like the enemy

who shrieks in the shadows

urging you to draw

nearer to him.

No, God speaks softly,

barely above a breath,

but as effectual as the wind.

wow a good poem and sweet and deep intentions to great and almighty God... love your feelings for him and the realistic approach.. these two stanzas are sooo sweet and meaningful

As long as you seek him out,
You will hear God
In the rustling of the leaves,
In the whistling of the wind.

God speaks amidst
The cacophony of life
Just loud enough for you
To feel His presence.
