The Gift of Life

Folder:
Spiritual

I’m like a pregnant woman

With her legs wired shut

Trying to deny that she

Must give birth to another.

I must succumb to nature’s gift

Wrapped in a bundle and

Given gently to a mother

From her heavenly father.

I need to take care of this

New person in my life

And remember all the labor

Pains her parents endured.

I really do not think you have thought this poem through. Are you pregnant or not? Is this a virgin birth?

Why would you deny giving birth?
Natures gift, labour pains endured by her perents!
Sorry, but you have completely lost me.
Maybe it is just me.
