Here I stand my ground

In Christ’s love abound

Where I find infinite peace

His grace will never cease



Through storms, I am secure

In droughts, I can endure

Because He gives me solace

When I drink from his chalice



My Christ wore human flesh

Until it was stripped like mesh

Rejected by the ones he loved

He fulfilled the plan of God above



There on that cross at Calvary

The sins of this world he carried

And when he breathed his last

Our eternal punishment was cast



In a tomb, his lifeless body lay

Then resurrected in three days

From the grave He rose again

And freed us from sin’s chains



My life was a ransom now paid

Sin would not leave me weighed

Forever, He holds my heart’s key

From now on I will live in victory
