Accountable

I would never be
an asset to them-

unconvertible to
something of worth.

No, I owed them
for my deficiencies.

Now, those were tangible-
noted in red markings
on my papercut skin.

I would be held liable
to repay all the debt
I had incurred-

bound by losses
that must be settled.

My insufficiency
depreciated the value
of my good intentions,

as obligations
continued to accumulate.

I would never find
an equilibrium between
interest and offense.

Earning negative equity,
I was a
wasted investment,

my purpose still
unaccounted for.

GORGEOUS!

You have a nice way with words. I loved reading this. I read it twice just to make sure I didn't miss anything. Very simplistic and to the point no fluff or anything.

I LOVE IT!

critque some of my poems? =]
