Were you here to watch with me
A beautiful day come true.
A morning sun coming out of the dark
Sending rays of pink and gold
Spreading white clouds over blackened sea
Touching the sands with indigo.
Opening yellow and white daisies
Looking to an ever blueing sky
Coloring the blackened sea into
Turquoise, blue and navy blue
Peeping golden above the playful clouds
Dazzling snow-white virgin sands
Reaching the midday peak
Roasting little running bodies
Moving westwards making long shadows
On beaches decorated with footprints
Footprints and silhouettes lingering
And sand castles slowly tumbling
Gathering final strength to shine
Giving radiance to threatening clouds
Nevertheless, clouds merge and protect
The flaming sun going to sleep
Deep within the heart of the sea
Would that I be as such to you.
