Years ago, 4o, less?

I was there on the beach

Looking across vast waters

Laughter surrounding sun filled

But my heart longed to go

Across, back to another land.



Now, those many years after

Another shore, another beach

Sun sparkled waters

Silence, within, some laughter

My heart came home, yes

But again it is looking across.



We are home? Where?

All are gone, another life

Beaches throwing memories

Waves tossing pictures images

Cant keep, just a mirage

What will you find there?
