Spring?????
Spring??
This morning the birds were singing
a sign of spring
too early they told me
and yet i heard them, i know
each year they come to tell me
heralding news of flowers, for me
news of good times and fun
But they tell me it is too early and the sun is not here
the clouds are dense
will it rain to bring the new flowers
where did the birds go
they lied to me????
Why did they sing to me?
a sign... not spring
too late for that....
and yet they insist, they sing
they whisper these are new flowers
should i believe them??
