John’s Love
John Thomas was a very smart student; he was always first in his classroom. He had 9.8 average and everything he aimed for he accomplished, except one thing; he had always like this girl named Katie Johnson. She was a cheerleader and the most beautiful girl in the school but wasn’t very smart. She didn’t know his name. She in fact, had some kind of boyfriend. The boyfriend was the quarterback of the football team. All of the girls in school were after him and was their biggest crush. Final exams were in less than a week and Katie knew she was going to need help. Literature exam was just about the corner, she had the subject failed and she needed a good grade to pass and graduate.
In the class they started to review, she didn’t even remember the firsts topics and stories, so she began to seek help. Her “friends” didn’t want to help her. They thought it was her fault for skipping classes and not putting attention. She knew she had to find the right person to pass the exam. Wondering in the classroom she noticed a smart guy answering all the teacher’s questions. This guy was John Thomas. When class was over she decided to go talk with him, he on the other hand was shaking and could not answer her. Katie smiled at him and asked again, “Hi, English classmate, would you mind helping me study for the test?” John replied “Yee- ee- es”. “Ok, I’ll see you this Saturday at my house” Katie replied.
Saturday had arrived, John was really nervous. He knocked the door and Katie opened and he continued her way. John told her to begin studying if not they would not finish. Katie opened her book at the first chapter. Time passed and they were still in chapter one talking about their likes and dislikes. Katie looked at her cellphone and noticed it was ten at night. John was in love, but he had to go home. He told her to review on her own on Sunday because he wouldn’t be able to come. On Sunday Katie was very stressed that she didn’t know anything, instead John was thinking about her.
Monday morning came, the sound of the bell rang and they had to go to the classroom to take the test. Katie was nervous, so she decided to sit next to John and ask him to let her copy from him. Although John was in love he said yes, but as a smart guy he knew she was just taking advantage of him. That she will never want to date him. John, doing anything for love, let her copy the whole test. Just five minutes before the exam finished the teacher saw Katie copying from him. “Katie what are you doing?” the teacher said. “Nothing Mrs. Smith” Katie replied. “Turn in your exam right now and talk to me after class” Katie did what Mrs. Smith and when class was over Mrs. Smith asked her “What were you doing Katie?” “I was copying from John”.
