“All alone”
The white dove woke up feeling that something was not right; something catastrophic has going to happen. The moment he woke up he just started see everything very quickly. A minute after he calmed himself, he started to feel that the tree he was in was shacking. The shacking was so fast that he was unable to react and maintain himself in the delicate branch he was in. He started to fall from the branch and then everything happened so fast that the only thing he could see was the branch getting further and further away. During the fall, the only thing he could think of was about his family and what would happen to them with all of this mess. The tumble was so vigorous that he lost consciousness. After a while he regain consciousness and realized that the humans were gone, and that the trees and buildings had disappeared; but the worse was that he was all alone. It was impossible for the dove to search for help because the sunlight had disappeared; the entire Earth was all dark without light, making it complicated for the dove to see with clarity what was happening. The dove tried to stand up and fly to a safer place, but when he stood up he felt a huge pain in one of his wings. The left wing of the dove had been injured when he fell down, making it impossible for him to fly and to have balance for walking. The dove desperately shouted: “Help! What happened? Please I need help!” The dove started to cry, because he didn’t know what had happened to everything and everyone he knew. Not far away, with difficulty, the dove saw something white and furry running around without knowing where to go. The dove, with all his strength, shouted: “Over here, I need your help!” The dove saw that the white and furry thing had stopped, so he shouted again: “I need of your help! Come over here!” After a while the dove saw the white thing approach to him. Because of the darkness, the dove had trouble to see who was the white thing that was going to help him. When it arrived, the dove saw that it was a bunny and both of them stared at each other without speaking until a huge noise scared them both. The bunny said nervously to the dove: “What happened to all of this?” The dove replied: “I don’t know, everything happened so fast that I fell from a branch and lost consciousness.” The bunny, after hearing what the dove said, helped him to stand up and heal his wing. When they started to walk together, they didn’t know what had happened, and realized that everything they knew had changed for worse.
