Hiding the truth of what I feel inside,
It's too difficult to convey laughter
When all I have done is cried;
But I want to play happlier ever after;
This lack of honesty has caused pain
Because my sentiments for her aren't true;
Which gives me a thought to maintain,
I never knew love like I've known it with you.
It strikes me as reality;
I can trust in love from you,
But it will be just an ideality;
For us to make it all the way through;
Girl, come and walk with me
To see if you withstand from slips;
Girl, come and talk with me,
Let words of love flow those lips.
I am last to the heart of yours;
You have apprehended this love of mine;
Yet, you must survive this course
Of obstacles to stand the test of time.
