Back in the day, I would often be having conversations with mother/daughter combos. I was usually being introduced to the younger one’s parent. Of course, I usually liked the daughter and wanted to make a good impression on the mother. It’s a well worn cliché but I would always ask them if they were sisters or make some such corny comment. I hoped that Mom would think I was sweet. But now the times they have a changed on us. Now when I meet a mother/daughter combo and I suggest they look like sisters, I’m usually just flirting with the mother.
