They always tell you that you can control your dreams. There are ways to control the flow of the dream. There is some level of truth to that. There have been times when I realized I was dreaming and then I changed the whole process. You’re hiding but the doors won’t lock and then the doors start shrinking so the monster will be able to find you. If you are being chased or tormented in a dream they tell you to turn to the antagonist and ask them why they are following you or why are they trying to hurt you.
I’m just like “Bullshit!”
Superhero fantasies
can now be explored.
When I realize that it’s just a dream I view it as an opportunity to live out my childhood superhero and professional wrestler fantasies. I’m going to turn around and kick the living hell out of the antagonist. I’m going drag them into the Men’s room and give them a piledriver on the bathroom tiles. That will be followed up by flushing their face in the urinal. I always wanted to do that to someone. I saw it on a TV show once. Of course, there aren’t many real life situations when that would be acceptable. It’s even hard to pull off in your dreams. Much like the sex dreams, right when you think you’re gonna have some fun the damn alarm clock goes off. I wake up screaming, “No, I wasn’t finished yet!” It’s always my luck. I try to force myself back to sleep to no avail. It’s time to wake up and prepare for another wretched day.
