They tell you

just be yourself

and then they say,

“Don’t be an asshole!”

but what if

you are an asshole?

then being an asshole

would be being yourself

They never have

a good answer to that.

They just stammer along

with their hackneyed clichés

and keep preaching

ignoring another classic adage:

Silence is Golden!

and maybe, just maybe

they need to go back to school

and learn a little more

before trying

to enlighten the rest of us
