Clothes stolen

in Prague

tend to forget

the value of American clothes

in Eastern Europe

went by a store

and saw Levi’s jeans

for 6,000 Czech coronas

(that’s about 350 bucks)

Ouch!

Who the hell would pay

that kind of money

for a pair of freaking jeans

I was talking

to someone in Prague

who was explaining

that they are a poor country

That’s because they spend

so much money on jeans

I wanted to hit him

over the head with a newspaper

for such stupidity

then again,

I got robbed by these minions

so what does that

say about me?

But I guess

human ignorance

remains our albatross

no matter where you go

or who you meet

it always manages

to rear its ugly head

one way or another
