My ears have been pierced

                by a heavenly sound

My mind flew with angels

                         and fell in love

                             with life

I can not describe what flew

                         thru my  mind

             in slow melody

All I can say is that I am

                   Overwhelmed

I find myself with

                   a stupefied grin

             and warm glow

                  in my eyes

It’s a feeling that runs

                     thru my body

             and sends chills

                 down my spine

I roam the glorious

                   wilderness

            that surrounds

          our hearts

I realize the glory

          Humanity could

              one day achieve

Self-actualization is not that

                difficult to achieve

I see no reason to not drive

             thru infinity

     and realize our potential

Jazz filled clubs slowly fill

                            my brain

            and I see what

                  I have been missing

I feel amazed that

             I could

                     feel so grand

10 days of sick thought

                   and nihilist emotion

             have been buried

The time has come for me

                to put it all behind

It’s time to see what lies

                 behind my heart

what beauty and complexities

              hide within my soul

I swear it’s not too late

            to find the glory

                      of human nature
