Cruising forklift

taking a sharp turn

too swiftly

the pallet shifts on the prongs

cartons rise in rebellion

against oppressive shrink wrap

the boxes plummet to the floor

forcing a swift break

everyone on the floor

looking at my blunder

so I get off the lift

I have a mess

of my own creation

requiring solution

a few boxes were dented

a few corners split

revealing lacy panties within

I don’t mind

sullying women’s undergarments

but this ranks

as one of poorer means

to accomplish that end
