DAINTILY SKIPPING ALONG

Folder:
SLEEPY TIME POEMS

I’m never quite sure

how it is

I always get stuck

in the middle

of these things

I’m just daintily skipping along

without a care in the world

I don’t bother anybody

but fate being a bitch

I always seem to be

getting in trouble

I try avoid situations

And needless confrontations

I move along my course

with nary a concern

to force my own views

or interfere in other’s lives

fate just seems to corner me

like a rat in a cage

seems I can’t avoid it;

can’t ever steer clear

I always stray right

on into the danger zone

I just daintily skipping along

without a care in the world. . .

Fate Is Not A Bitch

she's just misunderstood. I stumble into things, caring; hit a wall, fall and trip on my legt foot getting up. Once up, My lip bleeds having been bit, my days are gritty from pulling heads out of beachfront real estate. I saw that lame excuse for a coup d'etat and may have to change my motto to: "I'm staging a sockhop, I'm taking my mind back home".
