I was in that place

for 30 seconds of my sleep

late last night

I got a little frightened

of the looney tunes

and ran off screaming

I woke up panting

I laid awake in bed

for the rest of the night

I was too chicken to sleep again

No way did I want to return

to wherever that place was.
