Well,

what happened,

how it went down

with her

is that I signed

her copy of the chapbook

when I was

really toasted

 

& apparently

I wrote something X-rated

on her book

 

Instead of being offended

like a normal person

she wants me

to live up to my boast

 

Me & my big pen;

it always gets me

into trouble

writing checks

my body can’t cash

 

I don’t really wanna

but I suppose

I have to try

since I made the boast

in writing
