The weather was

so fine

today

and yet I did nothing

but sit inside

with a TV on

and no apparent

understanding

of the value

of good weather

but of course

I’ll be the first

to bitch about it

when it turns

into the Exorcist

and gets cold

and rainy

I have to admit

that it’s just

the way I am

to never appreciate

all the good things

in life
