WRITTEN IN A KOREAN RESTAURANT

Folder:
MEANDERTHAL MAN

Trying to read Plutonian Ode:

       Korean restaurant

           Center City

        with sidewalks

            humming buzzing

with the energies

           of folks

   going here there

           to & fro

mystic Chinese alphabet;

          fish tank

     water tasting

          just the same

      as ever before

but the cool despair

                  of the day

        guilty afternoon

    with new literati

             & no new job

but fret not thyself

           be not afraid

      of the crackling waves

           of the ocean

      classical music

   setting the tone

              of cool rapid

                   mysteries

Baraka ordered

     Forgot Antler

Ah well, such is such

           guess these

        insane notes

   are meaningless

          too any

                & all

       who listen

    ears to door

  eavesdrop on madmen

Footsteps & reflections

           breathing on edge

               narcissism

                  nihilism

          no more hope

               just reaching

                   still striving

the stars not out

                   to early

            endless days

         with heat & light

prophecies go

             unfulfilled

      all my visions

                 perpetrated

                          as fraud

the songs stay

            the same

    the poetry goes

                   unchanged

and the world

     keeps spinning

  in spite of

        my impending demise

I still get sunflower seeds

I still get sunflower seeds in my trail mix.  Ginsberg ruminating on Blake.  Good stuff.
