the poems always end at your doorstep

you are the sun and the moon in an ocean

of over used cliches that pour desire for you

out of the big dipper and floats my love

boat of sultry pretension  on the tides

a gravity that pulls me to you

and in that context

i send poems to 34 1/2 mckinly

and they arrive in spite of misspelled

addresses and adverbs

my lust drifts in the shadow of the moon

that ripples across the lake

my lust that is crippled

but wonders what it could do with you

with no paddles in the canoe

up currents of passion

i am sad, but i can smile

with cunning thoughts that fill

your dance floor

i want to spin in an eddy

drunk on girl*juice

that flows night and day

from a spigot of pleasure

yes, pleasure

the over used word that

i always use with you

because that is what i seek

with you

Gem Boy

Another enjoyable love poem filled with passion and desire for the special one behind the door! On reading this poem I thought that maybe the title should have been "my desire always end at your doorstep", lol!!

Kind regards
Nicolette
