as Rwada burns the world watches with disgust

only to close there eyes when bullets flare

bodies cover the earth beneath dust

As the people of Somalia wither away

like plants without feed

the rich wash there mouth with golden pearls

Africa will forever bleed

why are they being ignored

to be murdered and raped

straved by a society

that refuses to but food on their plates

As the people of Congo

disappear like raindrops through the wind

their wounds will stay forever open

for they feed on there own skin

is the world blinded

or is it that they refuse to see

how can they turn there backs on them....us

how can they refuse humanity

ten thousand

one million

a billion

what number claims genocide

how many will have to die

before hate is identified

why's the holocaust over

and millions of Africans die every day

could it be the color of our skin

thats causes the world to take a look the other way

why's a continent allowed to die

while the rest of the world reconsructs

how can the world live with our cries

when will they look beneath the dust......
