With these rains, I pray:
Clear the debris and cast the dark away,
transform our hearts and build our strength
for the upcoming battles we have to slay,
for in every transition, hard times do come,
change is almost never smooth,
and too oft is blood spilled and does blood run.
Clear our minds, wash our eyes,
that we may see beyond the clouds,
seeing through faith helps wash away all doubts,
let our hearts and spirits be open to what
our personal missions are all about.
May we rise higher, in the spiral of life,
as we come full circle over our past selves,
let us loose from strife,
no more losing, no more cries,
only steel-force determination to fly,
no limits will bind, rise well beyond the sky.
Though transits are never smooth,
though darkness is never truly gone,
may we continue to move up to the light
and the dark remain far below as we move on...
...let any obstacles sent our way
be stayed, slain or simply erased,
so that we all can look forward to
better and brighter days.
Evolution Prayer;
I also believe in what your poem portrays; the evolution of our species on this planet is not complete and continues. I enjoyed your poem also your comments.
