It’s been said
that Staten Island is more
than just a sprint
from the Goethals Bridge
to the Verrazano Bridge
I’ve seen a few pizza shops
& Mexican Restaurants
on Victory Boulevard
but it largely seems
to be a forgotten borough
that geographically ought
belong to New Jersey anyway.
Before New Yorkers think
of annexing Philly
as a 6th borough
they ought give a little love
to the long forgotten
5th borough they already have.
