I had to get

to the KGB bar

for a poetry reading

& I walked up & down

6^th Street.

I couldn’t find it

and I knew it wasn’t on 7^th Street

cuz that was where

Burp Castle and Brewski was at.

I tried 8^th Street

but that was wrong, too

The church is there.

I couldn’t find the bar

and confusion reigned supreme

for over an hour.

It was nowhere to be found

On 6^th or 8^th Street.

I gave up 

and decided to have a brew

at McSorley’s.

And here I learn 

of my mistake—

The KGB Bar is on 4^th Street

where, apparently,

it always has been located.
