when Checkpoint Charlie

doesn’t inspire you to write

but sitting bored

in a laundromat does—

 

well, there are clichés

and then there are clichés

 

and this is a cliché.

 

Brautigan may have 

been on to something

 

but I still think I prefer

my orange juice

sans brain droppings

thank you very much.

If I Was In Amsterdam

20 years ago washing clothes, that is probably what I'd write about. (chuckle here) walls come down, walls go up. slc
